Heard both sides.

2. The learned counsel on either side submitted that the issue raised in this writ petition is squarely covered vide order dated 30.10.2025 made in W.P.(MD)No.30725 of 2025 etc., batch. Paragraph Nos.16 & 17 of the said order read as follows:-

“16. Though the notices have been issued by R2, both the learned counsel would accede to the position that they may appear before R1 / the Director of Town and Country Planning, Chennai, as per the directions under order dated 26.06.2023. 17. In order to facilitate the closure of the matter that has been hanging fire since 2016, we fix the date of hearing as 17.11.2025, on which date, the petitioners shall appear before R1 / the Director of Town and Country Planning, Chennai, at 11:00 am, without anticipating any notice in this regard. They shall be granted audience accompanied by copies of their replies and also supporting documents in respect their title and orders shall be passed within a period of two weeks thereafter in accordance with law.”

3. The petitioner shall appear before the Director of Town and Country Planning, Chennai on 19.02.2026 at 11.00 am without anticipating any notice in this regard.

4. The writ petition is also disposed of on the same lines. No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
