Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 8 to take appropriate action to protect and restrain the water body from being encroached by erecting the electric poles and polluting the water body on account of planting the solar power plant in SF Nos.754/1, 754/2, 754/5, 755/1, 755/2, 758/1, 758/2, 758/3, 758/4, 758/5, 758/6, 758/7, 763/2, 763/3, 764/2, 777/1 and 778/3 and other patta lands with close vicinity of Nasan @ Chinna Pilirankulam in S.F.No.670 with an extent of Hectare situate at Minnathur Revenue Village and water body in S.F.No.19 with an extent of 9.71 Hectares namely Koppamatti Puthukulam situate at Themmavur Revenue Village by the private respondent and also direct the official respondents to conduct survey and fix the boundaries of water bodies in S.F.No.19 with an extent of 9.71 Hectares namely Koppampatti Puthukulam and take appropriate steps to protect the water body including water catchment area and feeding sources of said water bodies by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.01.2026.
