The petitioner challenges the rejection order dated 05.08.2022 passed by the third respondent, rejecting the request of the petitioner to appoint him under compassionate grounds in view of the death of his father who was employed in Tirupur Municipality. The third respondent rejected the request of the petitioner on the ground that the application for compassionate ground appointment should be made within a period of three years from the date of death of the employee, however, since the petitioner had applied for compassionate appointment only on 05.08.2020, he is not eligible to be appointed under the said ground.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned counsel appearing for the first and second respondents and the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent.

3. At the time of admission of the writ petition, this Court directed the second and third respondents to ascertain whether it would be possible to provide any other employment to the petitioner through outsourcing agencies in the third respondent Corporation.

4. Pursuant to the said order, today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.C1/4288/2020 dated .02.2025, wherein, the third respondent Corporation has recommended the employment of the petitioner under one M/s.Master Mind, Tiruppur, one of the Outsourcing Agencies under Tirupur Corporation, since there is no vacancy available in the third respondent Corporation. Hence, recording the said proceedings wherein the order of this Court has been complied with and that the ground on which the application of the petitioner was rejected is justifiable, this Writ Petition is closed. The petitioner is directed to appear before the said M/s.Master Mind, Tiruppur and accept the employment. There shall be no order as to costs.

Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
