ORDER
After a portion of the petitioner's land was acquired by initiating proceedings under the National Highways Act, 1956, it is stated that the petitioner has been deprived of access to the remaining land in Survey No.303/2B, Vembanoor Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District. After submitting a representation dated 22.01.2026 in this regard, the present writ petition has been filed.
2. Mr.Su.Srinivasan, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice for respondents 1 and 2 and Ms.S.Indhu Bala, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice for the third respondent.
3. Learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the petitioner's representation would be considered and disposed of on merits.
4. The petitioner asserts that the remaining land owned by him abuts the East Coast Road. It is also asserted that as a result of the acquisition, the petitioner does not have any access to his property. This aspect has to be considered by the third respondent, including by inspecting the site.
