PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to resume and complete the enquiry (Enquiry No.1110/2019) on the file of the Respondent in respect of the house and the agricultural land properties comprised in Survey Nos.124/3, 126/6, 126/9, 171/1A1, 171/1A2, 171/1A3, 170/5A, 170/5B, 170/5C, 170/8A, 170/8B, 124/1B, 124/2, 126/5, 121/1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 bearing Patta Nos. 839, 10573, 1116, 10272, 1582 and connection with the Patta Nos. 121/1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 situated in Neikuppai Village, Veppanthattai Taluk, Perambalur District, Susbsequently resume and complete the enquiry (Enquiry No.1110/2019) to take appropriate steps to insert petitioner name in the above Patta along with other legal heirs in accordance with law in pursuance of the petitioners representation dated on 09.12.2025.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to include the name of the petitioner in the joint Patta Nos.839, 10573, 1116, 10272, 1582 and in connection with the Patta Nos.121/1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, issued for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition.

2.According to the petitioner, her name has been erroneously excluded in the aforesaid Pattas. The petitioner seeks for inclusion of her name in the aforesaid Pattas. The petitioner had given a representation for the said purpose on 09.12.2025 to the respondent. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3.Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4.No prejudice will be caused to the respondent, if the petitioner’s representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of all the persons in whose name the Patta Nos.839, 10573, 1116, 10272, 1582, and in connection with the Patta Nos.121/1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 presently stand and any other necessary party, whom the respondent deem fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s representation dated 09.12.2025.

6.For the foregoing reason, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner’s representation dated 09.12.2025, seeking for inclusion of her name in Patta Nos.839, 10573, 1116, 10272, 1582, and in connection with the Patta Nos.121/1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 issued for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections of all the persons in whose name presently the aforesaid Pattas stand and any other necessary party, whom the respondent deem fit to enquire, within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
