ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents
2 and 3 to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioner is owned by her, based on her online application, dated 14.10.2025 with the assistance of the 5th respondent, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner had submitted an application through on-line on
14.10.2025 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same has not been considered by the respondents till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.R.Venkatesa Perumal, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), accepts notice on behalf of the
5th respondent.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner’s property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom they deem fit to put on notice within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:-
(a) Before surveying the lands in question, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, if they deem fit to put on notice.
(b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the respondents 2 and 3 shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
(c) If the need arises for police assistance and on a request made by the respondents 2 and 3, the 5th respondent shall render police assistance for the effective implementation of this order. (d) There shall be no order as to costs.
