ORDER
When the matter was taken up for hearing on 27.01.2026, this Court passed the following order:
The prayer in this writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take effective steps to use of Tamil Spiritual Manthras and Tamil hymns primarily along with Sanskrit in Yaga Saalai, Karuvarai and Gopura Vimaanam equally in line with the similar previous orders of this Court and help to glorify of devotional Tamil Devotees based on the petitioner's representation dated 19.01.2026.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though a Division Bench of this Court by order dated 19.08.2021 in W.P(MD)No.19115 of 2020, has directed to recite tamil hymns/verses and Thirumurais primarily along with sanskrit hymns/vedas invariably at the time of Kudamuzhuku, in the 3rd respondent temple kudamuzhuku is being performed mainly by chanting sanskrit mantras. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 19.01.2026 to the respondents 1 to 3 seeking to perform kudamuzhuku in the 3rd respondent temple by chanting tamil spiritual mantras. Since the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the respondents 1 to 3 are following the order of this Court dated dated 19.08.2021 in W.P(MD)No.19115 of 2020 in letter and spirit. He has produced a schedule before this Court as to how Kudamuzhukku is being conducted in tamil in the 3rd respondent temple. Thus, he would submit that the abovesaid Division Bench judgment is scrupulously followed and after completion of Kudamuzhukku, the respondents 1 to 3 will file a report.
4. At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that Othuvar of tamil hymns and verses are not permitted inside the yagasalai.
5. Learned Additional Advocate General would submit that tamil Othuvars will also be permitted to go inside yagasalai and chant tamil hymns and verses.
6. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Advocate General, this Court directs the respondents 1 to 3 to strictly perform the kudamuzhukku of Arulmigu Kalyana Venkataramana Swamy Thirukoil, Thanthonimalai, Karur District, strictly in accordance with the directions issued by the Division Bench dated 19.08.2021 in W.P(MD)No.19115 of 2020 and also as per the schedule of Kudamuzhukku through tamil pasuram and mantras specified in the proceedings of the 3rd respondent dated 26.01.2026 addressed to the learned Government Pleader and file a report before this Court on 20.02.2026
