Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has obtained a decree dated 21.08.2024 before the Commercial Court, Egmore, Chennai, which is sought to be executed in E.P.No.13 of 2025. It is the grievance of the petitioner that though the execution petition has been pending for the past several months, the judgment debtor is protracting the proceedings by filing frivolous applications. As on date, two applications are pending, namely, one under Section 47 of CPC filed by the respondent/judgment debtor and another application seeking disclosure of the accounts of the respondent/judgment debtor.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Rahul S. Shah vs. Jinendra Kumar Gandhi and Others, reported in (2021) 6 SCC 418, has issued specific directions to all Executing Courts to dispose of pending execution petitions, as far as possible, within a period of six months. Hence, a limited direction is sought for to the Executing Court to dispose of E.P.No.13 of 2025 along with all pending applications expeditiously.

4. In view of the limited prayer sought for in this revision, this Court is inclined to dispense with notice to the respondent/judgment debtor. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is allowed, directing the Executing Court to dispose of all pending applications within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter to dispose of the main execution petition in E.P.No.13 of 2025 within a further period of four (4) weeks. No costs.
