Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner’s representation dated 28.11.2022 (Petition No. 4672850) seeking for issuance of patta in respect of the land comprised in Survey No. 267/1 situated at Raghimanapalli Village, Krishnagiri Taluk and District, in lieu of compensation for the acquired lands in Survey Nos.1/18A2 and 1/19A, by considering the petitioner’s representation dated 28.11.2022.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner’s representation dated 28.11.2022, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the aforesaid representation of the petitioner is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections if any from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom the respondents deem it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner’s representation dated 28.11.2022 seeking for issuance of patta in his name for the subject property, after hearing the objections if any from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the aforesaid representation of the petitioner. No Costs.
