ORDER
The civil revision petition is filed seeking speedy disposal of petition for divorce filed by the petitioner in HMOP.No.321 of 2023.
2. The petitioner is the husband and he filed HMOP.No.321 of 2023 against the respondent.
3. It is seen from the ‘B’ diary extract filed in the typed set of papers that the petitioner was examined-in-chief as P.W.1 on 19.11.2024. Thereafter, he was present before the Court on 11.06.2025, 13.06.2025 and 18.06.2025. However, the cross examination of P.W.1 was not completed. It is also seen that on various hearing dates, the petitioner as well as respondent were absent.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is working in France and he has to come over to India for the purpose of cross-
examination.
5. Taking into consideration the examination-in-chief of the petitioner was done as early as 19.11.2024, the Trial Court is directed to fix a date for cross-examination of petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner shall be present before the Court and make himself available for cross-examination. Suppose, the respondent is not present on the date fixed, the next date of hearing shall be fixed within a period of one week and the trial court shall endeavour to dispose of the OP as expeditiously as possible as the examination of P.W.1 was commenced as early as November 2024.
6. With this direction, the civil revision petition stands disposed of. No costs.
