Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to remove the encroachment made by the respondents 3 to 5 by constructing house and bathroom etc, bearing in survey Nos.199/13 and 13/14 situate at Nallathur Village & Post, Kallakurichi Taluk &

District within a stipulated time.

Petition has been filed alleging inaction on the part of official respondents in taking any action on the representation of petitioner dated 17.11.2025.

2. Petitioner’s allegation is that private respondents have encroached upon public pathway.

3. We direct second respondent to conduct survey on the basis of the complaint, if not already conducted. Survey to be completed within one month from the date of receipt of this order. In case encroachment is found, further proceedings for removal should be concluded within two months by the competent authority.

4. Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
