Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 1 and 2 to decide the representation of the petitioners dated 30/12/2025 addressed to respondent No.2 within a reasonable time as may be fixed by the Honorable Court and protect the status of the petitioners in respect of their employment in respondent No.3 College as on 11/03/2025.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation, dated 30.12.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioners have made representation, dated 30.12.2025 before the second respondent seeking to decide their seniority as per the Act. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 30.12.2025, as expeditiously as possible.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioners dated 30.12.2025 will be considered and appropriate order will be passed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Accordingly, the second respondent is directed to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioners' representation, dated 30.12.2025, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s representation.
