Seranthiyan by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.12.2025 and within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The present writ repetition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the first respondent to incorporate the name of the petitioner's father in his death certificate.

2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, his father namely, Seranthaiyan, had died in an accident on 08.09.2022 and the death certificate was issued on 29.09.2022 without incorporating the name of his father. Therefore, he sent a representation to the first respondent on 13.12.2025 enclosing certain documents. Since there was no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent submits that they have received only the representation and not the enclosures.

4. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the first respondent with all the relevant documents and the first respondent is directed to pass orders within period of 4(four) weeks from the date of receipt of the documents from the petitioner.

5. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of.
