O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by P.VELMURUGAN, J.)

This Contempt Petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 03.01.2025 passed in I.A.No.2 of 2022 in H.M.C.M.A. No.19 of 2022 by the learned Additional District Judge (Fast Track Court), Vellore.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that, pursuant to the directions of this Court, the first respondent-husband has paid totally a sum of Rs.11,10,000/- towards the arrears of interim maintenance awarded in I.A.No.2 of 2022 in H.M.C.M.A.No.19 of 2022 to the petitioner-wife. As on date, there are no arrears outstanding.

3. The learned counsel submits that the first respondent/husband undertakes to pay the interim maintenance regularly until disposal of H.M.C.M.A.No.19 of 2022. A memo dated 09.02.2026 has been filed to that effect.

4. The first respondent as well as his counsel have made an endorsement to that effect in the said memo.

5. Recording the said submission and undertaking, this Contempt Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Sub application is closed.
