Court affirmed prior order's compliance regarding representations; contempt proceedings were dismissed.

O R D E R

In the order dated 08.01.2025 passed in W.P.No.30223 of 2018, which is the subject matter of the contempt petition, a direction was issued to the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner, if it is pending, in accordance with law. This Court had not expressed any opinion on the merits of the representation submitted by the petitioner.

The learned counsel for the respondents has placed on record proceedings dated 19.02.2026, by which the representation submitted by the petitioner has been considered and the claim for appointment against a regular vacancy has been rejected, stating that there is no regular vacancy.

The said proceedings dated 19.02.20216 are taken on record.

In the light of the above, the Contempt Petition stands closed, preserving liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said proceedings in the manner known to law.
