[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.]
This habeas corpus petition was filed by the husband to produce the body of his wife and set her at liberty.
2. This Court directed the second respondent to find the whereabouts of the detenue. The detenue was produced before the Court today. When we inquired of the detenue, she stated that she is not on good terms with the petitioner and that she had gone to Andhra Pradesh on her own volition. She further stated that she is looking for a job and once she settles, she will also take care of the girl child, who is presently in the custody of the petitioner.
3. The girl child stated that she is presently in the custody of her father and she seems to be liking both her father and mother.
4. In the light of the fact that the detenue had left the matrimonial home on her own volition, there is no question of any illegal detention of the detenue. If the parties are not able to come together, it is left open to them to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
5. This habeas corpus petition is disposed of with the above terms.
