ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.01.2026 and consequently permit the petitioner's mini bus bearing Registration No.TN-63-AT-6431 to operate up to Karaikudi Old Bus Stand, Sivagangai District.

The bus stand mentioned above in the prayer is only 300 meters away. If the permission is extended up to the bus stand, then it would be for the benefit of the commuter and passengers. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader taking notice on behalf of the respondents would submit that the permit of the mini bus is subject to many condition including the route in which the regular buses are not plied. In any event, if the petitioner wants any extension or modification of its existing permit, they have to apply under the New Comprehensive Mini Bus Scheme, 2024 under G.O.Ms.No.198 dated 28.04.2025 in the appropriate form and if only such an application is made, the same can be considered.
