In response to the allegation of encroachment made in the petition, learned State counsel for respondents 1 to 5, upon instructions, would submit that survey has been carried out and five encroachments have been found. Thereafter, notice under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 has been issued and the proceedings would be brought to its logical conclusion as early as possible, after receipt of reply and consideration thereof.
2. In view of the above submission, we are not inclined to keep this petition pending, but to dispose of the same, with direction to conclude the proceedings within three months and pass order one way or the other.
3. Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
