ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the show cause notice issued by the 1st respondent herein calling upon the writ petitioner to offer his explanation for availing passport services by using bogus documents.
2. The petitioner was initially issued with a passport on 29.12.2006 it was valid up to 28.12.2016. The said passport reflected the date of birth of the petitioner as 24.05.1987.
3. After the expiry of the passport, the petitioner has approached the first respondent seeking to re-issue the passport with a change in date of birth as 24.05.1989, for which, the present show cause notice came to be issued by the 1st respondent.
4. This Court had suo motu impleaded the 2nd respondent and directed the 2nd respondent to conduct a discrete enquiry and file a report.
