Vague representations in public interest litigation cannot be entertained if they do not clearly delineate actionable requests.

After sending a representation to the respondents herein, the petitioner herein claiming himself as a public-interested person, has filed instant writ petition seeking following directions by way of mandamus:-

a) To ensure the safety of migrant workers in Tamil Nadu, the government must take several measures, including forming committees, implementing welfare schemes, raising awareness, and simplifying the grievance redressal mechanism. 2.Though the prayer is intended to protect the interest of the migrant labourers, such a vague representation and prayer made through public interest litigation, cannot be entertained. Hence, this writ petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
