O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondent under the provisions of the Contempt of Courts Act for willful disobedience of the order dated 03.09.2025 passed in W.P.No.33200 of

2025.

2. The petitioner had filed a Writ Petition in W.P.No.33200 of

2025 seeking a direction to the respondent herein to initiate departmental disciplinary proceedings against one Senthil on the basis of his written representation dated 20.06.2025. This Court, vide order dated 03.09.2025, directed the respondent herein to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 20.06.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

3. Alleging that the order of this Court in W.P.No.33200 of 2025 dated 03.09.2025 has not been complied with, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

4. Today, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the order of this Court dated 03.09.2025 has been complied with in letter and spirit and that a charge memo has been issued to the third respondent, Senthil in W.P.No.33200 of 2025, vide Charge Memo No.4091/M3/2026 dated 04.02.2026. He further submitted that though there had been some delay, it was only due to administrative reasons and therefore, he sought that the respondent may be pardoned and absolved of the charge of contempt.

5. Having heard the learned counsel appearing on either and upon perusal of the materials available on record, this Court of the opinion that the order of this Court in W.P.No.33200 of 2025 dated 03.09.2025 has been complied with and that the act of the respondent would not amount to contempt of Court.

6. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
