Prayer: This petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971, to initiate contempt proceedings against the respondent / 3rd respondent and punish him for his willful disobedience of this Court in W.P. No. 8521 of

O R D E R
Alleging the violation of the order passed by this Court in W.P. No. 8521 of 2025 dated 07.07.2025, the writ petitioner has initiated this contempt. 2.By an order dated 07.07.2025, this Court passed the following order:-
“7. It is made clear that the respondents 3 & 4 shall not insist for any enhanced rent from the petitioner, till the disposal of his representation dated 20.02.2025 by the third respondent.”
3. I heard Mr.M.Navas Shareef for the petitioner and Mr.M.Suresh Kumar for Mr.Abishek Moorthy for the respondent.
4. Mr.M.Suresh Kumar brings to the notice of this Court an order dated
25.04.2025 passed by the Assistant Commissioner, Tiruppur Corporation. In terms of that order, the representation that had been made on 22.02.2025, which was the subject matter of the writ petition, had been disposed of by the Commissionerate. It had been duly communicated to the petitioner on 09.05.2025. This shows that even before the order was passed by this Court on 07.07.2025, the representation was not pending. The counsel, who appeared for the Corporation on that day, had not brought this aspect to the notice of this Court. Perhaps, it was an account of the order having been passed when the writ petition came up for admission.
5. Apart from this, in compliance with the orders, the Commissioner had issued summons to the contempt petitioner on 30.01.2026, calling upon him to make his representations with relevant records, for enquiry at 11.00 a.m. on
31.01.2026. On 31.01.2026, the Commissioner has rejected the representation.
6. The order dated 25.04.2025, summons dated 30.01.2026, and the order dated 31.01.2026 are scanned and extracted hereunder:-
“
”
Since this is in compliance with the order passed by this Court, I do not find the necessity to initiate any contempt proceedings against the respondent.
7. Accordingly, this contempt petition stands closed. No costs.
