ORDER
The petitioners, apprehending arrest for the alleged offences under Sections 296(b), 85 and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, in Crime No.12 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. The allegation against the petitioners is that the petitioners subjected the defacto complainant to cruelty and harassment. Hence, the case has been registered.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the marriage between the first petitioner and the defacto complainant took place on 27.08.2025. However, immediately after the marriage, the defacto complainant left the matrimonial home and has been living separately. It is the further contention of the learned counsel that the brother and sister-in-law have been falsely implicated in the case.
