O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to medically terminate the pregnancy of the petitioner’s daughter XXXX in accordance with Section 5 of the Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act, 1971.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner’s husband died during the year 2024. The petitioner is having two daughters and the victim is her younger daughter and she is 17 years old minor. The victim developed love affair with one Rohith and became pregnant, for which, a criminal case has been registered as against the offender under Sections 5(I), 5(j) (ii) and 6 (1) of the POCSO Act, 2012. Since the petitioner is a minor, her mother has filed this petition for the aforesaid relief.
