The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the first to fourth respondents to remove the encroachment made by the fifth to ninth respondents in Government Poramboke Street in Sorkavasal North Street, 4th Ward, Nelkattumselval, Vasudevanallur Panchayat Union, Sivagiri Taluk, Tirunelveli District.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the fifth to ninth respondents have encroached upon the public street.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first to third respondents would submit that the encroachment has been identified and notice under Sections 6 and 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act , 1905 has been issued and the date of eviction has been fixed as 16.03.2026.
4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. It is made clear that the official respondents shall strictly follow the Rules and Regulations and remove the encroachments. No costs. Consequently, the connected Misce
