ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to direct the
1st respondent-police to conduct investigation and file a final report in Crime No.341 of 2025, pending on the file of the respondent police.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that though the petitioner made a representation seeking to add one Nithya as one of the accused in the FIR in Crime No.341 of 2025, the investigation in this case has already been completed and the case has been referred as ‘mistake of fact’ and the final report/closure report has already been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvarur and the RCS notice has also been served on the petitioner as early as on 16.12.2025.
3. Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this criminal original petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said final report/
closure report and work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
