ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the impugned order passed by the first respondent in S.A.No.22116/Enquiry/E/2022, dated 24.01.2024, and consequently, to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to avail the assistance of a representative for perusal of the concerned revenue records and to furnish the information and copies of documents sought by the petitioner under the Right to Information Act, 2005, in respect of the properties comprised in S.F.

Nos. 93/5, 93/2 and 99/4 (new Survey Nos.267/5, 267/3, 267/6 and 261/4).

2. The petitioner sought certain information from the office of the second respondent.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent submitted that the petitioner may approach the office of the second respondent, verify the documents sought for, and thereafter, copies of the documents required by her would be furnished.

4. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner and her husband are illiterate and, therefore, she requires the assistance of an educated person.

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court permits the petitioner to approach the office of the second respondent to verify the documents sought for, and thereafter, obtain copies of the documents required by her. It is also made clear that one person may accompany the petitioner for the purpose of assisting her in going through the documents.

6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.

Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
