The present writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to remove the encroachments and obstructions in Odai leading to Kattipoondi lake, situated in Survey Nos.44/1 and 47/4, Kattipoondi Village, Polur Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District and to restore the water course to its original condition.

2. The learned State counsel for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submits that six encroachers have been identified, including the petitioner and they have been issued notice under Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905.

3. In view of the proceedings undertaken, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
