ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2020.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation seeking to release the Compensation decreed by the learned Sub judge Vellore in the Batch of LAOP cases including the Petitioner Dated 8.11.2017. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition.
3. In reply, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2020 will be disposed of by the respondent within a period of 6 weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.
5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.06.2020 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
