No. 95 and consequently transfer the revenue records relating to the land having the extent of 14.23 acres in S. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 5 and 6 to hold an enquiry in respect of ownership of the subject land in S. No. 95 and consequently, transfer the revenue records relating to the said land to the name of the Town Panchayat Thirupporur in terms of the G.O.No. 318 ( Revenue and Diaster Management Department ) dated 30.08.2019.

2. Today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that after filing this petition, a civil suit was filed by 18 persons, including some of the petitioners herein, due to which, the prayer in this writ petition has become infructuous. Hence, he requests this Court to dismiss the present petition.

3. Therefore, by recording the above submissions, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No cost.
