ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to appoint a fit person for Arulmigu Kandiamman Temple situated at Silamarathupatti Village, Bodinayakanur Taluk, Theni District, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 14.05.2025.

2.Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the material records of the case, the grievance of the petitioner seems to be that when proper application for appointment of hereditary trustee is pending, now the management of the Temple is facing difficulties. Certain elements are swindling away from the temple property and mismanaging the temple and therefore, appointment of a fit person is essential.

3.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents would submit that the authorities are now only considering the representation of the petitioner and they will look into the allegations and affairs of the temple and if necessary, they will take action in accordance with law.

4.In view thereof, recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition stands disposed of and directs the authorities to take action in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of web order copy. No costs.
