The Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent to issue Eligibility Certificate based on his application dated 10.08.2024.

2. Case of the petitioner is that he has pursued and successfully completed various degrees in different departments of medicine from recognised institutions. With a desirous of joining Undergraduate Medical Course in any Foreign Medical Institution, had applied for the eligibility certificate vide his application dated 11.10.2006. The said application got rejected on 21.12.2006, stating that the petitioner did not meet the eligibility criteria. After the public notice dated 22.11.2023, the petitioner has once again applied for the Eligibility Certificate on 10.08.2024. However, the respondent herein has not considered his application for issuance of Eligibility Certificate. Hence, he filed this writ petition.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the respondent is directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 10.08.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

6. In view of the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 10.08.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
