Writ petitions become moot if the underlying election process is completed during their pendency.

Headnote:This judgment concerns a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution for issuance of a Certiorarified Mandamus to quash certain election notifications related to the Tamil Nadu Wakf Board, based on the petitioner's claims concerning eligibility to vote. The court noted that the election process concluded during the pendency of this petition, thereby dismissing any further adjudication.
