PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct enquiry and cancel the licence of 3rd and 4th respondents in LCO No.48847 and 33031 within a stipulated time.

ORDER

The petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct enquiry and cancel the licence of 3rd and 4th respondents in LCO No.48847 and

33031 within a stipulated time.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, it was informed by the learned Government Advocate that the summons had been issued to the 3rd and

4th respondent on 29.10.2025 itself for an enquiry.

3.Though summons has been issued to the 3rd and 4th respondents as early as on 29.10.2025 calling for an enquiry, no such enquiry has been initiated by the respondents till date. Therefore, considering the above fact, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 1st and 2nd respondents to conduct an enquiry on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
