ORDER
Heard Mr.Sajeev Kumar for Mr.A.B.Rajasekaran for the petitioner, Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal, Additional Government Pleader for respondents 1, 3 & 4 and Mr.Abishek Moorthy for respondents 2 & 5.
2.Mr.Sajeev Kumar states that the proposal for acquisition of land has been given in terms of Section 3(2) of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997. Pursuant thereto, he has given his objections on 06.10.2025. He has also proposed an alternative alignment, so that his existing gas agency is not affected.
3.In terms of the aforesaid legislation, where an objection is received, a reasoned order has to be passed before proceeding with the acquisition of land.
4.Hence, the respondents shall pass orders as directed under Section 3(3)
of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purposes Act, 1997, and communicate the same to the petitioner.
5.In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
