O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representations dated 04.11.2006 and 18.02.2026 and consequently to rectify the classification of the subject property comprised in Survey No. 37/14A, situated at Poolangudi Village, Thiruverumbur Taluk, Trichy District and to issue patta in the name of the petitioner within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the subject property belongs to her. However, the classification of the said property has subsequently been altered and shown as ‘punjai tharisu’ in the revenue records without any notice to the petitioner and without any legal basis. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 04.11.2006 to the respondents seeking rectification of the mistake in the revenue record
