ORDER
This writ petition has been filed praying to quash the proceedings issued in Rc.No.11243/B1/2025 dated 16.10.2025 by the 2nd respondent and consequently to direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner in service with service and monetary benefits
2. The petitioner had entered into service as B.T. Assistant in Maths on 17.01.2002, he has unblemished record of service for 24 years. At present, the petitioner is working as Headmaster. He is placed under suspension on 16.10.2025 by the second respondent. The allegations levelled against the petitioner in the order of suspension is that the petitioner has criticized political parties and the Government by way of his posting in social media and thereby failed to maintain absolute integrity and devotion to the duty and the said acts are unbecoming as member of service. The petitioner submitted a representation on 25.10.2025 and 14.11.2025 to the Chief Educational Officer to revoke the order of suspension and the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition challenging the order of suspension.
3. This Court by its order dated 19.02.2026, issued a direction to the second respondent to review the order of suspension of the petitioner and to file report before this Court, pursuant to which the suspension order was revoked on
25.02.2026 and the petitioner has been transferred to Kosappettai Government Municipal High School as Headmaster vide order dated 25.02.2026.
4. In view of the above, nothing survives in this writ petition for adjudication. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed with direction to the petitioner to join duty in the transferred place, with condition that the petitioner should not repeat the same, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
