Withdrawal of petition permissible; further legal remedy allowed.

Headnote:This Court analyzed the petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India challenging an order and seeking to evolve a methodology to promote Diploma holders from Distance education. The Court granted liberty to the petitioner to pursue remedies in law after dismissal of the petition as withdrawn. The primary issue was whether the representation should be considered and the existing agenda quashed. The Court framed the issue around the legality and adherence to procedural requirements regarding qualifications. The reasoning determined the withdrawal's permissibility and affirmed opportunities for further legal recourse. The case concludes with an open door for the petitioner's remedies.
