ORDER

The petitioner came forward with this writ petition seeking a direction to merge Kunam Panchayat with Vanur Panchayat Union.

2. When the matter was taken up, Mr.N.Naveenkumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has produced the proceedings of the Government in G.O (Ms.)No.38, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department dated 13.02.2026 in terms of the said proceedings, the Government has decided to merge the panchayats has sought by the petitioner.

3. The said proceedings is scanned and extracted hereunder : -
