The petitioner seeks direction upon the official respondents to remove the encroachments made by the private respondents on the Government poromboke land.
2. Learned State counsel, on instructions, submits that survey was carried out by the Surveyor along with Village Administrative Officer, and 13 encroachments have been found. After identifying the encroachments, statutory notices under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, have been issued to the encroachers, seeking their explanation. Now, the matter will be examined in accordance with law and orders under Section 6 of the Act of 1905 will be passed and appropriate action would be taken to remove the encroachments.
3. In view of the aforesaid submission of the learned State Counsel, no further adjudication is required in the matter. The writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
