This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to produce the person or body of the detenu and to set her at liberty.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he fell in love with the detenue and since there was opposition for their marriage, the petitioner went to the house of the detenue and expressed his willingness to marry the detenue. However, the petitioner was threatened and he was never allowed to contact the detenue. Hence, a complaint was given before the first respondent and since no action was taken, the present Habeas Corpus Petition came to be filed before this Court.
3. The detenue was present before this Court and she came along with her mother. The detenue confirmed the fact that she has a love affair with the petitioner and that she wants to marry the petitioner.
