These appeals are directed as against the Judgment passed in S.C.No.218 of 2011, dated 21.09.2023, on the file of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Srivilliputhur.
2. The case of the prosecution is that on 04.05.2011 at about 2.15 p.m., when the de-facto complainant came home for lunch, he found his mother lying on the floor in a pool of blood. He immediately raised an alarm and P.W.2 and P.W.3 came to the scene of occurrence and found that she was dead. She had sustained stab injuries on her neck, and the bureau had been broken open.
