W.P.No.33759 of 2024 has been filed challenging the impugned order issued by the first respondent in Proc.No.5268/A5/2022 dated 17.06.2022 and for a consequential direction to the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service with all consequential and other attendant benefits.

2. The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was placed under suspension vide impugned order dated 17.06.2022 which is under challenge in the writ petition. When the matter came up for hearing on 13.12.2024, this Court directed the respondents to pay the subsistence allowance with arrears, if any, to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, however, it was not paid and thereby, the petitioner filed Cont.P.No.332 of 2026. In the meantime, enquiry was conducted and the order of dismissal was passed against the petitioner. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition. However, the interim order dated

13.12.2024 granted by this Court with regard to the payment of subsistence allowance was not complied with by the respondents.

3. In reply, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the entire subsistence allowance from the date of suspension till the date of dismissal will be paid within a period of one month.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, Contempt Petition No.332 of 2026 is closed. Consequently, the writ petition filed by the petitioner challenging the suspension order dated 17.06.2022 issued by the first respondent stands closed. The respondents are directed to pay subsistence allowance to the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
