ORDER

This petition has been filed to set aside the order dated 05.03.2026 passed in Crl.M.P.No.123 of 2026 in Cr.M.P.No.35 of 2026 by the learned Sessions Judge, Principal Special Court for Exclusive Trial of cases under POCSO Act, Coimbatore and modify the condition made in Crl.M.P.No.35 of 2026 dated

09.02.2026.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the condition imposed by the Court below was directing the petitioner to execute a bond for Rs.20,000/- is enormous, as he is a daily wager and it is too difficult to get sureties for a sum of Rs.20,000/-.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

4.Taking into consideration of submission, the nature of allegation and the period of custody of more than 54 days, this Court is inclined to modify the bail condition by reducing the bond amount from Rs.20,000/- to Rs.10,000/-.

All the other conditions stand confirmed.

5.With the above modification, the Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
