COMMON ORDER
The Revision Petitioner herein is the plaintiff in the suit in O.S.No.2945 of 2022 and the 3rd defendant in both the suits in O.S.Nos. 2946 & 2947 of 2022 on the file of VI Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai.
2. Since the relief claimed by the Revision Petitioner is only seeking a direction for a speedy disposal, the notice to the respondents in CRP.Nos.1573 & 1577 of 2026 and the respondents 1 to 6, 8 and 9 in CRP No. 1576 of 2026 is dispensed with.
3. The learned counsel for Revision Petitioner would submit that plaintiff is aged about 63 years old senior citizen and the suits were filed in the year of 2022. Even after filing the written statements, trial was not begin and so far, there is no progress in the trial. Therefore, he wanted to direct the trial court to dispose the cases as early as possible.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances and also the fact that the revision petitioner is aged about 63 years old senior citizen and the suits are pending from the year of 2022, as on date, issues not framed and so far there is no progress in the trial, this Court is inclined to direct the trial judge to commence the trial and dispose the cases as expeditiously as possible within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
Accordingly, these Civil Revision Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
