2. The petitioner's son who is aged about 38 years is missing since 13.08.2024. In this regard, the second respondent / Inspector of Police, C-2, Periyapalayam Police Station, Thiruvallur District, has registered a case in Crime No. 136 of 2025.

3. The second respondent is directed to take expeditious steps to trace the missing individual.

4. With the aforesaid direction to the second respondent, this habeas corpus petition is disposed of. No costs.
