ORDER
th Seeking to direct the respondents particularly the 4 respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his worshiping group of Mettur Village, Kadayam Perumpathu Part-I, Tenkasi Taluk and District for conducting the temple festival at Sri Ramar and Sudalai Madasamy Temple, Kallaru, Rama Nadhi Dam, Kadayam, Tenkasi Taluk and District on the day of Pankuni Uthiram (01.04.2026) in light of representation dated 02.03.2026, this writ petition is filed.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he had given a representation on 02.03.2026, requiring the 4th respondent facilitating his village people in participating the temple festival at Sri Ramar and Sudalai Madasamy Temple, Kallaru, Rama Nadhi Dam, Kadayam, Tenkasi Taluk and District on Pankuni Uthiram event. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the 5th respondent submitted that they have no objection for the petitioner's group in participating and worshiping the temple festival. The 5th respondent has appeared before this Court personally and had orally given an undertaking that he will facilitate the participation of all the people on the said festival.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.
5. Recording the above, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the 4th respondent to facilitate the participation of the petitioner's group in worshiping and participating in the temple festival at Sri Ramar and Sudalai Madasamy Temple, Kallaru, Rama Nadhi Dam, Kadayam, Tenkasi Taluk and District on the day of Pankuni Uthiram on
01.04.2026. No costs.
