The petitioner seeks for the following relief:

direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.04.2025 submitted to continue his services on and from 01.07.2025, till the vacancies are filled up within the stipulated time.

2. The petitioner is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Madras. He seeks to continue in the said post beyond the date of retirement till the vacancy is duly filled.

3. Without going into the merits of the case, the respondents are directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 29.04.2025, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
