...Respondents/Respondents On representation of the counsel for both sides, this case is taken up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. Ms.S.Nazira Banu, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr.P.Suresh Srinivasan, learned counsel for the second respondent Company are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:
TERMS OF SETTLEMENT This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal arises against the award dated
31.08.2023 passed in M.C.O.P.No.2917 of 2017 by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Special Sub Court, Cuddalore.
2. I heard Ms.S.Nazira Banu, representing Ms.Ramya V.Rao, for the appellant and Mr.P.Suresh Srinivasan, representing the second respondent.
3. Both the parties informed this Lok Adalat that a sum of Rs.6,50,000/-
has been deposited on 07.01.2025 and full satisfaction has been reported before the Tribunal.
4. Ms.Nazira Banu, seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this appeal and she made an endorsement to that effect. Permission is granted. 5. This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is dismissed as withdrawn in the light of the settlement already arrived at.
