ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate II, Thiruvallur to expedite the trial in C.C.No.422 of 2023 in Crime No.38 of 2011 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate II, Thiruvallur.
2. On an earlier occasion i.e., on 11.03.2026, this Court passed the following direction:
“4. The Registrar (Judicial) shall get a report from the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Thiruvallur with regard to the stage of the case, the reasons for the prolonged delay and the likely date on which the case will be taken up for trial and completed and place the same before this Court on 23.03.2026.”
3. Pursuant to the above direction, a report has been received today from the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thiruvallur, and produced before this Court vide: D.No.349/2026, dated:23/3/2026, which is extracted hereunder for easy reference:
